::We ate here a couple of years ago and hope to go back soon. It was possibly the best meal I have ever eaten. Everything about this restaurant was outstanding.

::The correct address for L'Auberge Gourmande in Grande Case is: 89 Boulevard de Grand Case Grand Case, Saint Martin 97150 The restaurant is on the French side of the island with a cluster of other upscale restaurants smack-dab in the middle of shady side-streets so be mindful when walking. It is small so be sure to call or email to make a reservation. I went in a group of 5 and had the most fantastic meal for about $315 USD (2 bottles of wine, 2 appetizers, 5 entrees, 3 desserts). The quail stuffed with fois gros was DELICIOUS. And the duck, encrusted salmon, sea bass and blackened tuna were also amazing. The owner gave us complimentary glasses of champagne at the beginning and a spiced rum at the end. The waitstaff were attentive and extremely friendly. Everything was top of the line and I would definitely recommend going.

::Not sure, if this restaurant is at two locations but the one I went to is on 'restaurant row' in Grand Case. Not Margot. Great meal at this popular higher end spot. The food is a bit rich so several of our party ended up taking leftovers back.. The specials were also very nice. Service excellent. We went Monday night and reservations are needed we went at 8:30pm
