Happy to support after Erma but this place is out to soak every penny they can out of you! Extra charges and promises they had no intention to keep! Too bad a little customer service can go a long way!
We were very impressed with this place room and grounds were impeccably clean. Front desk was right on point with all needs and all staff were very friendly. We strongly recommend Simpson Bay.
We stayed at the Simpson Bay Resort for a week and it was great. The staff were friendly, the room was clean with a good air conditioner and a comfortable bed, and the beach was beautiful.
We checked in to the resort due to our current timeshare being renovated due to the hurricane. We got to the resort around 4:30pm to check in and our room was not ready however check in is 3:00pm. We had to wait another 30 minutes until our room was ready. Online it doesn’t state that the fitness center is an additional charge, which is one of the reasons why we picked this resort. We agreed to pay the weekly fee to use the fitness center but still brought this up to the front desk. After showing them online through bookings as well as on their website that it doesn’t state it’s an additional charge, they removed the fee. The parking garage closest to our building had maintenance two days in a row however they never completely fixed the road. Therefore we had to drive over big huge rocks everyday to just park. The front desk staff wasn’t the friendliest and gave us an attitude when we told them we were not members of the resort.

As I arrived for the 3rd times staying there I checked in they sent me to my room and the housekeeper claims the room was not checked off for completion. They tried to charge me $100 per hr for late check out, bare in mind when I checked in they never indicated anything about check out time. So I'm guessing make it your busniess to read the signs, When initially they sent me to an unclean room for the 3rd time . If u pay your deposit by card it takes forever to get it back. You will have to fight a battle with them to get it back. I have been trying for 3 weeks to get my deposit back one rep told me 5 to 7 days the other told me 10 to 11 days it has been 3 weeks since I stayed with them. NO ONE has even return my call or follow up as they promised to on several occasions. Very very very poor communication. I recommend if you are going to stay their pay your deposit in cash or don't go. Any issues you encounter if they are not dealing with you face to face it's pointless. Horrible customer service. Make Simpson bay your last option if any at all.
